Ben Curran of Zimbabwe achieved his first test century, boosting his team to a 198-run lead against Afghanistan on the second day of the one-off test in Harare. The visitors ended their day at 34-1 in their second innings by Tuesday’s close.

The 29-year-old Curran, sibling to England’s Sam and Tom Curran, scored 121 as Zimbabwe amassed 359 runs in response to Afghanistan’s 127 all out at the Harare Sports Club.
