DAY 3 REPORT
On Monday morning, the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati was enveloped in an early winter haze. This atmospheric hint soon mirrored the looming trouble for India on the third day of its second Test match against South Africa. Facing an imposing first-innings score of 489 from South Africa, India needed a prolonged and swift response. Unfortunately, they fell short on both fronts, being bowled out for just 201, despite the conditions favoring batters. Marco Jansen starred yet again, following his impressive 93-run performance on Day 2 with a lethal six-wicket haul characterized by aggressive, short-pitched deliveries.
