MATCH PREVIEW

The West Indies aim for a series sweep against Bangladesh in the third and final T20I at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, scheduled for Friday.

The visitors hold an unassailable lead in the three-match series, following a 14-run victory in the second T20I at the same venue. They secured the series opener by 16 runs.

West Indies captain Shai Hope has been pivotal in his team’s success with decisive innings in both matches. He scored an unbeaten 46 in the first match and followed it up with 55 runs in the second game, leading his side to a series win.

Akeal Hosein has been the key player with the ball for West Indies, taking five wickets in two matches, with support from all-rounders Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s batting lineup has been underwhelming in both matches of the T20I series, failing to chase targets of 166 and 150. In the second match, opener Tanzid Hasan’s 48-ball 61 was not enough for Bangladesh to achieve the 150-run target.
