South Africa mounted a remarkable comeback on the third day of the second Test against Pakistan, taking control of the match at Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
Spinner Simon Harmer claimed three wickets, leaving Pakistan at 94 for four at stumps in their second innings, with a fragile 23-run lead. However, it was the resilience of South Africa’s lower order that shifted the momentum, giving the visitors the advantage with two days remaining.
