Ravi Bishnoi Highlights Spirited Rivalry Among Indian Spinners Ahead of T20 World Cup

Ravi Bishnoi is optimistic about rejoining the Indian cricket team, noting the current thriving competition among spinners in the country. He expressed that competing with renowned spinners like Varun Chakaravarthy, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav for spots in the Indian T20 squad is beneficial.

“It’s a healthy competition, good for Indian cricket,” said Bishnoi, currently in Gujarat to participate in the Ranji Trophy match against Bengal. “If such competition exists, it means the team is on the right path. Competing with these guys is always a positive.”

Bishnoi hopes to make a mark in the upcoming Australia T20 series and seize future opportunities with the national team. He is particularly eager to represent India in the T20 World Cup on home soil next year.

“There’s a World Cup in India, a great opportunity for every Indian player. Winning it would be incredible. My approach is to seize any chance to play,” said Bishnoi, who last appeared for India in a T20I match against England in Mumbai earlier this year.
