Quinton de Kock Comes Back to ODIs, Joins Squad for Pakistan Series
Quinton de Kock is making a surprising return to international cricket, as he has been called back to South Africa’s ODI and T20I squads for their upcoming tour of Pakistan in October. The 32-year-old had previously stepped away from Test cricket in 2021 and had announced his retirement from ODIs after the 2023 World Cup. Nevertheless, de Kock has not fully retired from international cricket.
His most recent appearance for South Africa was during the T20 World Cup final in Barbados in June 2024.
The tour of Pakistan will include two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
