Indian opening batsman KL Rahul had to retire hurt during India A’s second innings against Australia A in the second unofficial Test in Lucknow on Thursday. Rahul was on a score of 74 when he left the field accompanied by the physio. The 33-year-old was spearheading the home team’s effort to chase Australia’s target of 412. In the first innings, the right-handed batsman had a less successful performance, scoring 11 runs off 24 balls, before being dismissed by Will Sutherland.
