Jordan Cox Joins England Squad for Ireland Tour

Due to his outstanding recent performances, Jordan Cox has been included in the England T20I team for their upcoming tour in Ireland this month. He has joined as the 15th squad member to play three T20 internationals in Dublin from September 17-21.

At 24, Cox was the top scorer of the recent Hundred competition, being the sole player to amass over 300 runs. With the Oval Invincibles clinching the title once more, Cox earned the honor of player of the tournament.

Making his England debut last year during the home series against Australia, Cox played in a couple of T20Is. He then participated in the ODI series in the West Indies. With England choosing to rest several main players for this tour, Cox has a promising chance to add to his international appearances. Young allrounder Jacob Bethell will captain the team.
