South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock delivered an impressive performance, scoring 90 runs off 46 balls in the second T20I match against India at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Thursday. The left-handed batter hit a rapid half-century from just 26 balls, putting pressure on the Indian bowlers while setting a total for the South African team.

De Kock is currently without a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after being released by Kolkata Knight Riders following the 2025 season. He has entered the upcoming mini-auction with a base price of Rs. 1 crore.

Additionally, De Kock will appear in Set 3 of the auction, alongside other experienced wicketkeepers like Jonny Bairstow, Jamie Smith, and Finn Allen.

At 32 years old, De Kock has previously played for six IPL franchises: Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, and Kolkata Knight Riders. Throughout his IPL career, he has participated in 115 matches, amassing 3,309 runs with an average of 30.63 and a strike rate of 134.02.
