The player roster for the Indian Premier League 2026 auction received an update on Monday, just under a day before the event is set to take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Reports indicate that an additional 19 players were requested by the teams, expanding the auction pool to a total of 369 candidates. Among the most noteworthy additions is the inclusion of Bengal captain Abhimanyu Easwaran.

Previously, nine players were added to the roster, featuring names like Tripura all-rounder Manisankar Murasingh, Swastik Chikara, and South African Ethan Bosch; however, they were briefly removed. These nine have now been reinstated in the most recent update.
