IPL 2026 Auction Unveiled: Teams' Wallets Open Wide

The ten franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL) have announced their player retention and release lists ahead of the next season’s mini auction, slated to take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16.

All teams submitted their lists to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) by the deadline on November 15.

Kolkata Knight Riders made a significant decision by releasing their Rs. 23.75-crore signing Venkatesh Iyer. They also parted ways with Andre Russell, a two-time IPL champion, who had been retained for Rs. 12 crore.

  • Sunrisers Hyderabad: Rs. 25.50 crore
  • Gujarat Titans: Rs. 12.90 crore
  • Rajasthan Royals: Rs. 16.05 crore
  • Delhi Capitals: Rs. 21.80 crore
  • Lucknow Super Giants: Rs. 22.95 crore
  • Punjab Kings: Rs. 11.50 crore
