India’s T20 World Cup 2026 Journey: Key Dates and Venues Highlight February 15 Pakistan Showdown

The schedule for the 2026 T20 World Cup was revealed on Tuesday, with India discovering its group stage opponents as it aims to defend its title on its home turf.

This marks the first tournament since Suryakumar Yadav assumed leadership of the team, with emerging talents like Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Verma poised to make their debut in international cricket’s premier T20I event.

A total of 40 group matches are set to occur between February 7-20, with the leading two teams from each group progressing to the Super Eights phase, beginning on February 21.

India has been placed in Group A, accompanied by Pakistan, USA, Netherlands, and Namibia.
