‘In Form, He Shines: Dube Praises Suryakumar’s Impactful Play’

India all-rounder Shivam Dube commended Suryakumar Yadav after the captain’s first half-century in 23 innings led India to a seven-wicket victory over New Zealand, giving them a 2-0 lead in the T20 series.

“He’s an exceptional player. When he’s in form, the world knows what kind of talent he possesses. It was a sheer delight to watch him,” Dube remarked during the post-match press conference.

Dube also discussed his own contribution, highlighting the importance of preparation and the backing he gets from the captain and coach. “As the sixth bowler, I aim to deliver based on the game situation,” he mentioned.

Looking ahead to the remaining matches and the T20 World Cup, Dube recognized the strong capabilities of New Zealand’s team, stating, “Any batsman on any day can change the game. Anything is possible in the next three matches.”
