Duckett Sits Out, Curran Steps In for England’s South Africa and Ireland Tours
On Friday, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) revealed updates to its men’s team rosters for the forthcoming T20I series against South Africa and Ireland.
Opening batsman Ben Duckett will be resting during the three-match T20I series against South Africa, set to commence on September 10. Currently, South Africa is leading 2-0 in the ongoing three-match One-Day International series, with one match left.
All-rounder Sam Curran has been included in both England T20I squads for the series against South Africa and Ireland.
Additionally, fast bowler Matthew Potts has been released from the squad facing Ireland, permitting him to play for Durham in the Rothesay County Championship.
