Australia Reveals Alyssa Healy as Captain for 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup Squad
Australia, the reigning champion, has revealed its squad for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, set to take place soon. Announced on Friday, the team will be led by Alyssa Healy and includes experienced players such as Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Tahlia McGrath, and Ashleigh Gardner.
Sophie Molineux makes her return following knee surgery in January, while both Darcie Brown and Georgia Wareham have recovered from recent injuries to secure their spots in the squad.
Molineux is one of five Australian players making their debut in a 50-over World Cup, joined by opener Phoebe Litchfield, who recently earned the title of player-of-the-tournament in England’s cricket competition, the Hundred.
