Asia Cup 2025: India Advances to Super 4s Stage
India has secured a spot in the Super 4s stage of the Asia Cup 2025, following the UAE’s win against Oman on Monday.
Suryakumar Yadav’s team remains undefeated in the group stages, having achieved decisive victories over both UAE and Pakistan.
The team’s commanding seven-wicket victory over Pakistan on Sunday nearly guaranteed their advancement to the next round. However, it was UAE’s 42-run win over Oman on Monday that officially confirmed India’s progression.
Additionally, the other spot in the Super 4s will be claimed by either Pakistan or UAE. Both teams have shared similar outcomes, defeating Oman and losing to India, and will compete against each other on Wednesday in a decisive match.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 4s stage. The four qualifying teams will then compete in a round-robin format, with the leading two teams progressing to the final scheduled for September 28.
