Following a commanding 38-run victory in the first match of the series against West Indies, Afghanistan aims to secure the three-match series in Dubai on Wednesday.
The first match victory for Afghanistan featured a record-breaking 162-run stand between Ibrahim Zadran and Darwish Rasooli, enabling the team to post a formidable total of 181 for three in 20 overs. In response, West Indies were restricted to 143 for nine in their 20 overs, thanks to a superb performance by the spin trio of Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Rashid Khan, and Noor Ahmed, who collectively claimed six wickets.
The series finale is scheduled for Thursday at the same location.
