Afghanistan and Uzbekistan Collaborate to Elevate Cricket Growth
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan (CFU) aimed at enhancing collaboration and fostering the development of cricket in both countries.
According to the agreement, the ACB will offer technical and developmental assistance to Uzbekistan, focusing on areas such as coaching education, umpiring and officiating, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy programs, video analysis, talent identification, and the organization of technical courses and development camps.
Additionally, Afghanistan’s junior teams, including the ‘A’ team and the Under-19 squad, will participate in bilateral matches organized by the CFU in Uzbekistan.
“This mutual cooperation is anticipated to considerably strengthen the ties between the two countries and enrich regional cricket connections,” stated the ACB in a press release issued on Monday.
