India and Pakistan Battle Again: Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours LIVE Score & Streaming
There has been significant discussion around the absence of handshakes following the conclusion of the Group A match between India and Pakistan during the Asia Cup 2025 last Sunday.
As tensions continue to run high, the two rival teams are set to face each other again at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium this Sunday.
The stakes are elevated this time: securing a win at the start of the Super Four stage is crucial for easing the path to the final on September 28.
After the initial match, Pakistan sought to assert itself in light of India’s refusal to engage in handshakes with their players, prompting the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to call for the removal of match referee Andy Pycroft from the tournament.
PCB president Mohsin Naqvi claimed that Pycroft had banned both captains from shaking hands at the toss.
The ICC has firmly denied this request.
Amidst the off-field controversies, India’s easy victory over Pakistan in their first encounter has nearly been overshadowed.
If the focus is to shift back to the game itself, Salman Agha’s team will need to demonstrate more skill and strategy than they showed previously.
