Harmanpreet Leads as Uma Chetry Joins India Squad for Australia Tour
On Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the Indian women’s Test squad for the upcoming tour of Australia, which is scheduled to start next month.
Under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, India will engage in three ODIs, three T20Is, and a standalone Test match with Australia. This tour is set to take place from February 15 to March 9, 2026.
The BCCI announced that wicket-keeper G. Kamalini is unable to join the tour, with Uma Chetry stepping in for the T20I and ODI matches.
Pratika Rawal, who contributed to India’s victorious World Cup campaign before suffering an injury, has been selected for the Test squad.
