All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy to Lead Andhra in 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy

India’s all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been appointed as the captain of the Andhra team for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy, which will commence nationwide on December 24. Nitish showcased his talent in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he played three matches and took six wickets.

The Andhra Cricket Association has announced an 18-member squad for the tournament, along with seven standby players who will stay back at the base camp in Vizianagaram.

Andhra has been grouped in Group D alongside Delhi, Railways, Odisha, Saurashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, and Services, with their league games taking place in Bengaluru. The team’s campaign will begin on December 24 against Delhi.

The squad is set to arrive in Bengaluru on December 21 for their training sessions.
