Karnataka’s 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy Team: Complete Player Roster Revealed
India internationals KL Rahul and Prasidh Krishna have been selected for the Karnataka squad in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. Defending champions Karnataka will begin their Group ‘A’ matches in Ahmedabad on December 24.
According to Amit Verma, chairman of the Karnataka senior men’s selection panel, while pacers Vidwath Kaverappa and Vidyadhar Patel aren’t listed, they will accompany the team to Ahmedabad and likely participate in the matches.
Recently, Rahul led the Indian team during the South Africa ODI series. Meanwhile, Karun Nair, who showcased impressive performances in the Ranji Trophy, has been appointed as the vice-captain.
Harshil Dharmani and Dhruv Prabhakar have earned positions due to their outstanding performances in the U-23 State ‘A’ Trophy last month. Dharmani scored a crucial 142 against Tamil Nadu, and Prabhakar secured a brave 126 against Vidarbha. Amit, who is newly appointed, mentioned that Prabhakar’s capabilities as a spinner add significant value to the team.
The squad includes left-arm spinner Shreesha Achar as the sole specialist slow bowler.
