Jagadeesan Steps Up as Tamil Nadu Captain Following Varun’s India Call-Up
The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) announced on Wednesday that N. Jagadeesan has been appointed as the captain of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) team by the State Senior Selection Committee. The matches, to be held in Ahmedabad, will see B. Sai Sudharsan serving as the vice-captain. This decision follows the selection of regular captain Varun Chakaravarthy for India’s T20I squad in the five-match series against South Africa.
