Varma to Captain India A in South Africa, Kishan Enhances Squad Dynamics

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India A squad for the upcoming three unofficial one-day matches against South Africa A, set to take place at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot from November 13 to 19. Tilak Varma has been named the captain, with Ruturaj Gaikwad as his vice-captain. Shreyas Iyer, who previously led the team against Australia A, is absent due to an injury he sustained last month in Sydney.

Ishan Kishan has been called up to the 14-member squad following his impressive performances for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy. The team features regular T20 players such as Abhishek Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana.

Additionally, Riyan Parag, Ayush Badoni, Nishant Sindhu, and Prabhsimran Singh maintain their positions in the squad from the previous series against Australia A.
