Ojha and RP Singh Appointed to Senior Men’s Selection Panel

Former Indian cricketers Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh have been appointed to the men’s national selection committee. Amita Sharma from Delhi has been named chairperson of the Women’s selection committee, with Sulakshana Naik from Mumbai and Shravanti Naidu from Hyderabad joining as members. The committee also includes Shyama Dey and Jaya Sharma. S Sharath has been appointed chairman of the junior selection panel after serving on the senior panel since 2023.
Meanwhile, Mithun Manhas has been elected unopposed as BCCI president, accompanied by other office bearers. Rajeev Shukla will serve as Vice President, Raghuram Bhat as Treasurer, Devajit Saikia as Secretary, and Prabhtej Bhatia as Joint Secretary.
Jayesh George has been appointed Chairperson of the WPL committee, while Rohan Jaitley will lead the Infrastructure Committee.
During the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Annual General Meeting (AGM), it was decided that U16 players cannot participate in the IPL unless they have played at least one Ranji Trophy match for their state.
